Barrio Fiesta to Include Veterans Memorial Day Service

The 47th Annual Barrio Fiesta on Saturday, May 28, at the Binhi at Ani Filipino Community Center in Kahului will include the 7th Annual Veterans Memorial Day Service at noon.

All Veterans are invited to participate and will be asked to march in after the Posting of Colors by the Hawaii Army National Guard.

The memorial service will include the POW/MIA Ceremony led by Chelsea Fernandez, the Maui representative of the Governor’s Advisory Board, Office of Veterans Services.

Other veterans scheduled to participate in the service include Danilo Agsalog, Wayne Dumalanta, Florante Garcia, Cornelio Pulido, Philip Sabado, Ryan Sagayaga and Sharon Zalsos.

The community center is located at 780 Onehee St., across from Maui Waena Intermediate School.
