Q: We are considering purchasing land in Hāna. I was wondering if you foresee the paving of the Hāna Highway in the near future. Thanks.

A: If that is an issue for you now, I foresee that it will be an issue for you in the future, as Hāna Highway receives a significant amount of rain, landslides and other impacts—even if this state roadway is newly paved.

You might want to consider property in another location.
