100 Women Who Care to Hold Meeting at Fleetwood’s

The next quarterly meeting of 100 Women Who Care Maui will be held at Fleetwood’s on Front St. in Lahaina on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 5 to 6 p.m.

An optional dinner and social will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

At the meeting, members will nominate a cause/need within Maui County and then take a vote and write $100 checks in support of the winner.

The group’s goad is to raise at least $10,000 for the selected cause.

Mick Fleetwood will then present the money to the cause that receives the most votes.

100+ Women Who Care is part of a global non-profit alliance of 100 Who Care groups, who create maximum impact in a short amount of time. The group identifies immediate problems in the community and puts its esources into action.

Anyone in need is eligible to be nominated by one of our members; 100% of donations go to Maui County causes.

At the last meeting, the group raised $9,500 for HARF – Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation.

Since 2014, 100+ Women Who Care Maui has given back over $23,000 to the community.

Fleetwood’s on Front St. is locates at 744 Front St. between Dickenson and Lahainaluna Streets.

The meeting will be in Club Keller on the lower floor. Dinner after the meeting will be on the first floor in the main dining room.
