Flood Advisory in Effect for Parts of Maui

A Flood Advisory is posted for the island of Maui in Maui County until 12:45 a.m.
At 9:42 p.m. the National Weather Service says radar indicated heavy showers near Kaupo. Rain was falling at a rate of up to 3 inches per hour.
Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Kaupo, Kapahulu, Nahiku, Hana, Wailua, Hamoa and Haleakala National Park.
