The Maui County Council Water Resources Committee will receive a presentation from the Department of Water Supply focused on application processing for the Upcountry Water Meter Priority List.

Committee Chair Gladys Baisa said, “Last year, council provided exemptions to some costly infrastructure requirements to help Upcountry residents waiting for water meters.  The committee will explore ways to speed up the process for those still on the list.”

“Until water service is offered to every applicant, I’m committed to working with the public and the department to reduce obstacles in the way,” she said.
