Hāna Metals Recycling Event, Aug. 4-6

The Hāna Metals Recycling Collection Event takes place Thursday, Aug. 4, Friday, Aug. 5 and Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016.

The event will be held at the Hāna Landfill from 8 a.m. -2:30 p.m. daily, according to the County of Maui Department of Environmental Management, Office of Abandoned Vehicles and Metals.

These County-sponsored metals collection events allow East Maui residents to properly recycle appliances, scrap metal, auto batteries, tires and labeled propane tanks.

The event was rescheduled from its original date in June.
