Boys & Girls Club Benefits From Customer Donations at Pukalani Superette
Customer donations made over the past few months at Pukalani Superette were donated to the club director at the Boys & Girls Club of Makawao to assist in clubhouse events and programs.
Pukalani Superette donated a total of $1,324.32 to Cynthia Cagnoni, the BGC Makawao club director
The Boys & Girls Clubhouses provides a place where young people go to have fun, learn, do homework, develop social skills, express themselves creatively, and participate in sports.
Pukalani Superette owner Aric Nakashima said he is “touched by the generosity of our customers that make these donations possible.”
The current canister collections will go to “Support Upcountry Students for higher Education” and donations will be made to various upcountry schools. Donation canisters are available at each checkout to drop in loose change or make a donation.
Pukalani Superette is a family owned and operated business, founded over 60 years ago. The business offers a wide selection of grocery items, health food, take-out prepared foods and catered food dishes.
