No Tsunami Threat to Hawaiʻi After 7+ Loyalty Islands Quake

There is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi after a preliminary magnitude 7.6 moment earthquake reported at 3:27 p.m. HST on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 in Southeast of the Loyalty Islands.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says that based on all available data, there is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi.
According to the USGS, the quake occurred within the vicinity of the following locations:

Nouméa, New Caledonia: 684.0 km (425.0 mi) E (Population: 93,060)
Dumbéa, New Caledonia: 685.6 km (426.0 mi) E (Population: 19,346)
