Burglary Investigation: Police Release Waiehu Surveillance Image

The Maui Police Department released surveillance images of an individual sought for an alleged theft at the Waiehu Golf Course on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

Police say an unknown male entered the Golf Cart Barn and Maintenance Room of the golf course at around 6:33 p.m., and allegedly took items valued at $300.

Police say the individual then left on foot in an unknown direction.

Police have initiated a second degree burglary investigation and say they are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual in the surveillance photos.

Anyone who can identify the individual is asked to contact Detective Dennis Clifton at (808) 244-6433 (Monday to Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) or call Dispatch at (808) 244-6400, and refer to Police Report number 16-031405.

To report anonymously and be eligible for a reward call Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966.  Maui Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information reported anonymously that  leads to the arrest and indictment of felony crimes.
