John Mayall, the Godfather of the British Blues, and his band are coming to the MACC on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016.  The show will take place at Castle Theater at 7:30 p.m.

The Godfather of British Blues, John Mayall, will perform at the MACC on Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the bands four-island Hawai'i tour.

The Godfather of British Blues, John Mayall, will perform at the MACC on Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the bands four-island Hawai’i tour.

The new band will be on a four-island Hawai’i tour. Mayall’s new band includes Texas guitar slinger, Rocky Athas, Greg Razb on bass, and Jay Davenport on drums.

For over 50 years, Mayall has served as a pioneer of blues music.

In 2013, Mayall signed with producer Eric Corne’s label, Forty Below Records, and has since been experiencing a true artistic and career renaissance.

The revival continued with the release of a new studio album, Find a Way to Care, produced by Mayall and Corne at the House of Blues Studios in Encino, California.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Connections Charter School music program.

Tickets are now available for $35, $45, $55, $65 plus applicable fees.
