Tickets can be purchased online here, or by phone at 808-665-5815. All net proceeds benefit the Lāhainā Complex After School Program, which provides volunteer tutors to hundreds of public school students from grades 3 to 8 in various academic subjects.

The program, in its 16th year, does not have a regular source of funding, so fundraisers are an important source for the operational budget, which includes expenses for curriculum reproduction each year, snacks for students, student incentives for attendance and home work, and busses to and from tutoring at Boys & Girls Club. On an overall basis last year, test scores improved by an impressive 84% for students in the program.

People for Educational Equality and Beyond the Rainbow Foundation are co-sponsors for this event. Both are non-profits that support the tutoring program through regular fundraisers, and the founders of both entities are tutors in the program.
