The Wharf Cinema Center Celebrates 33 Years of Karaoke

The Wharf Cinema Center hosts its Annual Costume Karaoke Contest this Halloween, Oct. 31, 2016 in Lahaina.

The event, now in its 33rd year, will follow the Keiki Parade down Front Street.

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with registration and and open mic warm-up from 6 to 7 p.m.

The Main Event starts at 7 p.m, and The Wharf will be hosting a special judges table.

Admission and registration are free. Contest organizers say all ghosts, goblins, witches, vampires, werewolves, monsters, and more are welcome to join, just be sure to bring your own costume.

All restaurants will be open with special Halloween hours and will remain open late into the evening.  Following the competition, the entertainment continues at The Wharf restaurants: Cool Cat Cafe presents “Night of the Living Dread” with Marty Dread from 10 p.m. until closing; and Down the Hatch will be hosting their own Halloween party with a costume contest and DJ Love.

The Wharf Shops & Restaurants are located at 658 Front Street across from the historic Banyan Tree. The Wharf is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9:30 pm. with validated parking located directly behind the shopping center. Call (808) 661-8748 for more information.
