Gates to Close to Deter Golf Course Thefts

The County of Maui Department of Parks & Recreation will lock the gates at the entrance of Waiehu Golf Course beginning on Nov. 1, 2016.
The gate closure is due to recent vandalism and thefts at the golf course and beach park.
The gate closures will begin at 8 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m., seven days a week.
