“Be yourself, because everyone else is taken,” is the theme for ARTwalk at The Shops on Nov. 2, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. The evening celebrates the individual in all of us.

“Art is a field with no right or wrong answers. It is the forum where creative minds celebrate diversity and individuality,” event organizers said. The art galleries will exhibit artwork that represents the creative process in diverse subject matters and mediums.

ARTwalk at The Shops is a fine art and entertainment event that promotes local visual art and artists in a wide range of mediums and artistic style, including painting, sculpture, metal art, handmade jewelry, photography, pottery, and glass works.

ARTwalk is a complimentary event open to the public that takes place the first Wednesday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. on the second level of The Shops at Wailea surrounding the art galleries.

To keep the creative muse alive, each month ARTwalk will have art pieces that celebrates the monthly theme. Come down, stroll through the six diverse galleries, and meet the artists in residence at The Shops. Galleries include: aFeinberg Gallery, Eclectic Image, Ki’i Galleries, Lahaina Galleries, Mouche Gallery, and National Geographic | Fine Art Galleries.

The Shops at Wailea suppports a different Maui non-profit each month with 60% of the special event parking fees going back to the non-profit. November’s non-profit recipient is Best Buddies Hawaii. The Shops’ goal is to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in the culture, arts, and music while supporting the local businesses and non-profit partners.

Four-hour event parking is available for $5 dollars and can be purchased at the non-profit’s parking table.
