Island Sotheby’s International Realty announced earlier this week that Volker Weiss and Monica Starleaf have joined its Maui real estate team.
Known to many as “VW,” Weiss’ sales history features an impressive portfolio of sold properties. He was also involved in the highest residential sale in the state to date.
Weiss specializes in the resort areas of South Maui and has also received state and national sales awards.
Clients seek out Weiss for his lifelong experience in the resort industry, confident negotiation skills and local expertise.
“The value and motivation for my move is in the brand name in itself: Sotheby’s International Realty,” said Weiss. “I am thrilled and honored to be joining a sophisticated group of local experts. I believe that my association with the company will help my clients and promote Maui real estate on a unique, international level.”
Starleaf has lived on Maui for more than 30 years and provides clients with decades of personal experience living, working, and raising a family on the island.
For 13 years, she worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Wells Fargo, where she won numerous customer service and national “Top 10% Producer” awards.
“I’m very excited to join Island Sotheby’s International Realty because of the company’s prestige and stellar reputation,” said Starleaf. “I respect and admire their brokers and agents, many of whom I’ve worked with through real estate dealings over the last 15 years. I’m looking forward to being a part of the team.”
Weiss and Starleaf have years of experience in Maui real estate and work to ensure that each transaction is smooth and profitable.
Island Sotheby’s International Realty said, “We are excited to work with this well recognized team in the Wailea/Makena community and appreciate the energy that they infuse into their business,” said Paul MacLaughlin, Principal Broker and owner of Island Sotheby’s International Realty.
