Hospice Maui celebrated the opening of its Hospice Hale on Thursday.  The new facility is located next to its current office on Mahalani Street in Wailuku and was constructed to broaden its ability to serve more people.

Completion of the five-bedroom facility comes as Hospice Maui celebrates 35 years of service.

Hospice Maui aims to accommodate individuals who are too ill to be at home and do not wish to be in the hospital.
