Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel ushers in the Chinese New Year with a brunch celebration on Sunday, February 5 at the award-winning Tiki Terrace restaurant.

Keeping with 2017’s “Year of the Rooster,” the family-friendly affair will include live Hawaiian entertainment, fireworks and lion dancers by Au’s Shaolin Arts Society to honor traditional Chinese culture and a delicious collection of Asian flavors under the direction of Executive Chef Tom Muromoto.

Chef Muromoto has compiled an assortment of fresh cuisine, including an iced seafood bar with cold crab legs, shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell and raw crab, and entrées like shrimp egg fu young, Manila claims in a mild spicy tomato broth, beef broccoli, seared salmon with ginger, and Chinese roast duck. In true Kā‘anapali Beach spirit, there will be a separate keiki menu offering kid-approved favorites like pepperoni pizza, hot dogs and assorted keiki desserts.
