Dear Mayor Arakawa,

Q: What is being done to track down the arsonists who are attempting to destroy Pukalani Park again? First the restroom, now the trash containers and bench. So sad.

A: Police are monitoring the area and have been called numerous times to respond to neighbors’ reports of disturbances at the park. That being said, we will need the community’s continued assistance to report and respond to vandalism and other criminal acts in our parks, including this one, which is locked nightly by parks staff.
