Councilmember Yuki Lei Sugimura today announced the launch of Talk Story with Yuki, a monthly outreach program to engage the community on county issues that matter to them.

Sugimura will be available to interact with the public and receive concerns every second Saturday of the month, starting on Feb. 11 from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Upcountry Farmers Market at Kulamalu Town Center on 55 Kiopaʻa Street in Pukalani.

“The upcountry market is a great venue for farmers and growers, county watchdogs and other concerned citizens to meet and share their challenges and feedback on local legislation,” said Sugimura. “I invite the public to talk story with me, and support buying local produce, too.”
