Philippines earthquake, 2.10.17. PC: USGS.

There is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi following a preliminary magnitude 6.5 earthquake reported at 4:04 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 in Mindanao, Philippines, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The USGS reports that the earthquake was located:

  • Basilisa, Philippines
  • Surigao, Philippines
  • Placer, Philippines
  • Maasin, Philippines
  • Butuan, Philippines
