Fred’s Garage, a classic West Maui rock and roll band, will provide the dance music at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s Third Annual “Go For The Green” St. Patrick’s Day party on Friday, March 17.

Residents and visitors alike are invited to join the fun at the Molokai Ballroom of the Royal Lahaina Resort, Kā‘anapali.

Event proceeds will support recycling in West Maui, scholarships for local students and club donations to community nonprofit groups.

“We’re thrilled to have Fred’s Garage for our St. Patty’s Day party,” said Melissa Fort, Rotary club president. “We invite the community to join us as we kick up our heels and have a great time, all for a good cause.”

Fred’s Garage consists of Ray Chin on drums and vocals, Mark Jackson on guitar and vocals, and Jason Jerome on bass guitar and vocals.

The band’s website sums up their passionate and infectious style of playing: “From the ashes of a deprived West Maui music scene comes a band that plays unadulterated rock and roll.”

The “Go For The Green” St. Patty’s Day party will include no-host bar, dinner buffet, dancing and a silent and live auction. Attendees may purchase tickets in advance for $95 per person ($115 at the door), which includes dinner and two drinks. VIP tables of 10 are available for $1,000.
