Soul Kitchen will celebrate Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 28,  2017, at Mulligan’s On The Blue, from 7 to 9 p.m.

In addition to Soul Kitchen’s usual acoustic alchemy and musical mayhem, there will be free beads, masks and  face painting from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Gumbo, jambalaya, Louisiana bread pudding and Creole crab cakes will be on the menu, as well as $8 Hurricanes.

And Soul Kitchen will be serving up Mardi Gras music!

Soul Kitchen is acoustic-infused musical alchemy, both blending and transcending the traditional genres of soul, blues, jazz, classic rock, Cajun zydeco and Middle Eastern influences.

Soul Kitchen includes, Naor Nave, guitar and vocals; Sue S. Westcott, fiddle and violin; Michael Elam, keys and vocals; Bruce Boege, horns; Kevin Garland, drums; Kerry Sofaly, cajon, bongos, washboard, pots and pans; Marcus Johnson, bass; and Tempa Singer Nave, vocals, shaky things, cowbell and mischief…

Admission is $15 in advance; $20 at the door.
