Hawaiʻi Life, one of Hawaiʻi’s largest real estate brokerages, announced the elevation of two key leaders within the organization.
Rhonda Hay was promoted to Director of Operations and Katie Minkus was named Director of Business Development.
Hay, who was previously Broker-In-Charge on Maui, brings over 20 years of residential real estate sales experience and over a decade of leadership and management to her new role with Hawaiʻi Life. She has been with the firm since 2013.
As Director of Operations, Hay will manage operational accounts and physical office locations working directly with the leadership team to make the best use of all company resources. In this expanded role, she’ll continue to oversee Hawaiʻi Life’s training program. “Rhonda is an incredible problem solver,” said Matt Beall, Chief Executive Officer of Hawaiʻi Life. “Her ability to handle complicated logistics make her the ideal person for this role.”
Minkus, who has been a member of the Hawaiʻi Life team since 2009, will continue her focus on company growth. Her new role will also encompass working with project developers and rental property partners as well as identifying new areas for expansion for Hawaiʻi Life.
“Katie is a true powerhouse,” said Beall. “Last year, we had our best year yet, with over $1.1 billion in sales and she’s a direct contributor to the company’s continued success. I’m excited to see what she does in this new role.”
Hawaiʻi Life is a 100% locally created, owned and operated real estate brokerage with 13 offices and over 200 agents. The third largest brokerage in Hawaiʻi, Hawaiʻi Life is the subject of a popular HGTV show and operates Hawaiʻi’s most trafficked real estate website.
