Water Mainline Break on Peʻahi Road in Haʻikū

Water Repairs, Peʻahi until 10 p.m. on 3.2.17. PC: Wendy Osher/Maui Now

The Maui Department of Water Supply is working on repairing a mainline break near the intersection of Peʻahi and Ulumalu Roads in Haʻikū. A crew is on-site and it is anticipated that work will continue until approximately 10 p.m. tonight.

Residents on Peʻahi Road and Kaupakalua Road may experience low pressure to an interruption in water service as work continues.

Flagmen are on duty. Motorists please use caution when driving in the area.

A water tank will be available at the intersection of Ulumalu and Peʻahi Roads for affected consumers.

The public is invited to call the department’s 24-hour service line at (808) 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
