Tickets Go on Sale March 28, for MAPA Spring Extravaganza

Tickets for the Maui Academy of Performing Arts’ Spring Extravaganza and MOVES will go on sale Tuesday, March 28.

The show will take place May 6-7, at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater.

MAPA will present four shows that are for the entire family. The weekend begins with MAPA’s annual dance recital on Saturday, May 6, featuring dancers of all ages performing hip hop, jazz and tap.

On Saturday evening the groups most experienced dancers present extraordinary original choreography in the “MOVES” dance concert featuring a guest appearance by Maui’s professional dance company “ampersand”.

On Sunday, May 7, 200 MAPA ballerinas will present two performances of the romantic French ballet “Giselle”.

Tickets will be $17 for the jazz and ballet shows. Tickets for MOVES will be $22 for adults, $17 for students with a valid ID.
