Maui Crime, April 16–22: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 16 burglaries, 11 vehicle thefts and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from April 16-22, 2017.

Burglaries were down 27%, with 16 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 22 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were up 10% from the week before when 10 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 48% from the 25 break-ins reported last week.

Of the 11 vehicles reported stolen, four have since been recovered.
