Maui Orchid Society Annual Mother’s Day Show, May 11-13

The Maui Orchid Society will host its Annual Mother’s Day Show and Sale at the Maui Mall (Space B-8) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 11-13.

Sandi Amaral, chairperson for the Maui Orchid Society for the past five years said there will be a large selection of orchids and corsages to offer and to take home.

“Every year it never ceases to amaze me, that there are show stopping, as well as award-winning orchids on display, with the commercial growers’ presenting a large selection of exotic orchids for sale that is spectacular,” Amaral added.

American Orchid Society certified officials will judge the orchids according to AOS criteria, and ribbons for winning orchids will be awarded.

“Marvel at the beautiful orchids on display and perhaps purchase one for yourself, a loved one or your mom in honor of this special day,” Amaral said.
