Ongoing Utility Work: W Alu Rd Closed to May 23

West Alu Road will continue to be closed through Tuesday, May 23, 2017, while Goodfellow Bros, Inc. continues to perform the utility work and repaving on West Alu Road, between ʻĪao Valley Road and Alaneo Place.

The delay in opening West Alu Road is attributed to unforeseen existing utilities being encountered during the installation of the new utility lines.

The contracted utility work began more than a month ago on April 11, 2017.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as there will be no through traffic on West Alu Road. If the area cannot be avoided, motorists are advised to drive with caution and to follow all traffic control detours and signs in the area.

The Department of Water Supply sincerely apologizes for this inconvenience.
