95th Maui Fair Seeking Sponsors
Maui’s largest event will return for its 95th year, providing something for everyone with four days entertainment and activities for the family, from Oct. 5-8, 2017. Organizers are inviting businesses to get involved by becoming a sponsor.
With an attendance consistently nearing 100,000, the Maui Fair is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations. It relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorships, local donations, and volunteers for support.
New sponsorship packages have been developed to provide value-added benefits and are available to fit a variety of budgets.
Fair organizers say that one of the most valuable benefits of sponsorship is the publicity and exposure that business receive as a true community supporter.
The Fair will open with the traditional parade, which is also Maui’s largest, on Thursday, Oct. 5, and will continue with rides, food, entertainment and more through the evening of Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017.
The Maui Fair attracts locals and visitors alike to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features an array of local food, entertainment, an E.K. Fernandez Joy Zone, plus horticulture, orchid, livestock, homemaking, photo and art exhibits and competitions.
Those in attendance can find unique and innovative products and services in the “Maui Fair Products & Services” Tent. The Events Arena offers a venue for community groups, clubs and organizations to perform and share their knowledge and skills.
Popular contests include the Chili Cook Off managed by our Fire Fighters, the Maui Fair Pie Competition, and Baby of the Year Contest.
