MFSS to Host 11th Annual Celebration of Fathers Event

Maui Family Support Services will host its 11th annual Celebration of Fathers event on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the War Memorial’s Special Events Field.

The event will celebrate the important role that fathers and male caregivers provide to keiki and the community.

The celebration will feature live entertainment, father-child-look-alike contest, door prizes, food trucks, craft and food vendors, classic cars, motorcycles, community resources, activities for keiki, Hawaiian cultural demonstrations and games.

Free hot dogs will be available for the first 500 keiki.

The free event is provided by Maui Family Support Services, Inc. and is sponsored by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and the County of Maui.

MFSS’ mission is to promote healthy family functioning by providing supportive services that build on family strengths utilizing our collective resources toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
