There is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi following a preliminary magnitude 6.9 earthquake reported at 12:25 p.m. HST on Friday, June 2, 2017 near the Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected, and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi.

- 113.6 mi WNW of Attu, Alaska;
- 435.1 mi ESE of Klyuchi, Russia;
- 508.1 mi E of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia;
