Looking for ways to honor Dad this Father’s Day with some great food? Here are some options across the island on Sunday, June 18, 2017.

In Kā‘anapali, Pailolo Bar & Grill at the The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas will be firing up the “Mac Daddy” of all burgers with an all-beef Wagyu Burger Patty topped with Fried Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese, house pickles, 8th Island sauce, onion, lettuce, and tomato on an onion bun served with a glass of ice cold beer for $20. Not too far from KOR, Maui’s newest restaurant Mauka Makai at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas will host a Father’s Day Feast. Dad’s can choose their entrée from the Butcher’s Block – a choice of hand-cut Natural Prime Rib Striploin and Ribeye – weighed, sold by the ounce, and then prepared to order by the chefs. Add fresh ‘ahi, lobster shrimp and oysters and enjoy with local craft beers and wines. Signature accompaniments will include Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese, a loaded Baked Potato Bar and BBQ Upcountry Vegetables, and a Sweet Potato Brulée which are included with the meal. This Father’s Day Feast is available from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Reservations are strongly recommended, call 808-662-6400.

Also on the West side, Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel will have an all-you-can-eat buffet at the hotel’s award winning Tiki Terrace restaurant. The buffet will be available between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will feature live music and Dad’s favorite foods such as kiawe slow-roasted prime rib, char sui glaze tender pork, macadamia, honey mustard and rosemary glaze leg of lamb and pork lau lau. Adult tickets are $52.95 per person and children 12 & under are $25 each. Keiki under 5 years-old are complimentary with a paying adult.

Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is offering a Father’s Day dinner at Black Rock Kitchen on Sunday with seatings between 5:30 and 9 p.m.

Don’t want to leave town? Kamehameha Golf Club will have a special brunch for Dad featuring music from Willie K with seatings at 9 a.m. and noon. A few of the brunch items include wasabi rubbed prime rib, an omelet station, kalua pork hash, baby back ribs, sausage and seafood paella and a desert station. Reservations are required, call 808-866-5025.

Also in Central Maui, the Kahili restaurant will have a special Father’s Day brunch with seatings at 9 a.m. and noon. The buffet includes a salad bar, cold seafood bar, entrees that include braised oxtail and charsui duck and a dessert station.
