2017 Maui County Affordable Housing Summit

The Maui Chamber of Commerce joins the Maui County Department of Housing and Human Concerns in co-hosting the 2017 Maui County Affordable Housing Summit, on Friday, June 30, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Maui Beach Hotel in Kahului.

The summit will feature a Keynote Address by Rick Jacobus, Principal at Street Level Advisors. Jacobus has more than 20 years of experience working with cities, nonprofits and philanthropy to craft new solutions to some of society’s hardest problems.

As the founder of Street Level Advisors, Jacobus currently serves as a consultant and strategic advisor to Cornerstone Partnership, a national initiative focused on building more inclusive communities. He recently served as an F.B. Heron Foundation Joint Practice Fellow at CoMetrics where he researched business models for the collection of social impact data.

Previously, Jacobus served as a Partner in Burlington Associates in Community Development and a Visiting Fellow at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He has also served as a Lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley and as a Senior Program Officer for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation and holds a Bachelors degree from Oberlin College and a Masters of City Planning degree from the University of California Berkeley.
