Global media leader and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey will appear for a special conversation at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s outdoor Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheater on Monday, June 26, 2017. The free special event is designed to inspire residents of Hawaii – ranked the healthiest state in the nation by the Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index – to lead even healthier, happier, more productive lives.

The event, entitled “Live Your Best Life,” is presented by the Hawai‘i Medical Service Association, Hawaii’s leading health plan, and Sharecare, the nation’s leading digital health company that helps people manage all their health in one place.

Through a free online sweepstakes, tickets will be granted for a conversation with Ms. Winfrey on health and well-being. During the event, Winfrey also will engage in a question-and-answer session moderated by Jeff Arnold, Sharecare’s co-founder and chief executive officer.

“Having Ms. Winfrey share her powerful message to empower and motivate Hawaii residents is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and an incredibly special event that we’re proud to bring to Maui,” said HMSA’s Chief Executive Officer Michael A. Gold. “We know that her ability to inspire will be a huge boost to our efforts to advance health and well-being across Hawaii.”

Together, Sharecare and HMSA are accelerating the transformation of health and well-being in Hawaii through innovative solutions. Blue Zones Project, Ornish Lifestyle Medicine, and now the launch of the Sharecare platform are just a few innovations that Sharecare and HMSA have brought to the state. Over the last four months, HMSA and Sharecare have already welcomed accredited health expert, best-selling author, and world renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, and CNN’s chief medical correspondent and neurosurgeon Dr. Sanjay Gupta to Hawaii to help spread the word on how technology is making it easier for people to engage in their own health.

Tickets to “Live Your Best Life” are available exclusively through a sweepstakes from HMSA and Sharecare. To enter for a chance to win tickets, go to www.hmsa.com/sharecare, and create a Sharecare account with a valid email address (if prompted for an activation code, type: oprah). If you previously created a Sharecare account, you automatically are entered into the sweepstakes.
