The County of Maui and Hale Mahaolu along with support from the nonprofit and business sectors, are working together to hold an appreciation celebration on July 3, 2017, in recognition of county veterans.

In order to attend the celebration, veterans are encouraged to RSVP by Monday, June 26 for themselves and one guest to attend. Reservations are required and admission tickets must be presented for entrance to the picnic. As part of the celebration there will be an “abbreviated” fireworks display that will be able to be seen by most of the Central Maui community.

“It is our pleasure to organize this event to honor our Maui Veterans and also celebrate Hale Mahaolu’s 50th anniversary,” said Roy Katsuda, Hale Mahaolu Executive Director.

Any veteran who would like to attend the picnic/fireworks display is asked to contact (808) 872-4100.
