Kalani Pe‘a Coming to the MACC
Grammy Award winner and Nā Hōkū Hanohano winner Kalani Pe‘a is coming to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017.
The performance will take place at the McCoy Studio Theater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 24, at 10 a.m.
Pe‘a won a Grammy at the 2017 awards and also won contemporary album of the year at the 40th annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards for “E Walea.” He is the first Hawai‘i recording artist to win a Grammy and a Nā Hōkū award for the same album.
Pe‘a will perform Hawaiian music, contemporary music, his original music, and some of his favorites from Luther Vandross, Joe Cocker, and Heatwave, along with special guest, Hawaiian falsetto sensation, Kason Gomes, and beautiful hula.
