Maui County officials announced that operations at the Division of Motor Vehicle and Licensing are back up to normal after glitches with the Honolulu mainframe slowed services earlier this week.

Officials said that all branches of Maui County’s DMVL offices and satellite offices in Kahului, Kihei, Pukalani and Lahaina are open for business and servicing all customers.

The County has asked Maui Police Department to allow for a grace period until July 7, 2017 to help DMVL customers get their motor vehicle paperwork updated.

The department thanks the public for its patience and understanding.
