19th Annual Keiki Hula Festival at Lahaina Cannery Mall

The 19th annual Keiki Hula Festival will take place at the Lahaina Cannery Mall on Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16, 2017.

The free, two-day cultural event will feature halau (dance troupes) from across the island who will present choreographed kahiko (ancient hula) and auana (modern) hula that express the traditional values of Hawai‘i and the Pacific Islands.

The event will also feature Hawaiian artisans and crafters that will demonstrate lei making, weaving, wood carving and other traditional skills. Halau will take the stage every-other hour beginning at 11 a.m. with the last performance at 3:30 p.m. each day.

Lahaina Cannery Mall is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (7 p.m. on Sundays) and also features weekly events including free ‘ukulele lessons at 5:45 p.m. and a free hula show at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays; free hula lessons at 5 and a free hula show at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays and keiki hula shows at 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
