Kahului Vehicle Fire Destroys Pick-up Truck

Maui firefighters were called to a vehicle fire on Huali Way in Kahului early Sunday morning, July 16, 2017.
The incident was reported at 4:09 a.m. and responding crews quickly brought the fire under control.
Crews arrived to find fire in the bed and in the interior passenger compartment of the 2006 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Fire investigators say the cause of the incident was undetermined.

The vehicle as valued at $15,000, and was a total loss.
