Traffic Alert: Motor Vehicle Accident Honoapi‘ilani Hwy Near Lookout

Update: As of around 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, traffic was open in both directions, following a motor vehicle accident near the scenic lookout area of the Honoapiʻilani Highway.  Although the road is now clear, motorists can expect delays as traffic resumes its normal flow.

The accident was temporarily blocking both lanes of travel and was located near the scenic lookout area of the “pali.”

Emergency crews have been notified and are responding to the incident.

Motorists can expect significant delays in travel as the scene is cleared of debris and vehicles are removed from the road.
