UPDATE: Missing Person Higashino, Located

UPDATE: (Aug. 8, 2017, 9:24 p.m.) Lihau Higashino was located, according to Maui police.

The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Lihau Higashino, 19, who was reported missing on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017.

Higashino was last seen on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at his home on Malaihi Road in Upper Waiehu.

He is described as 6’2″ tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Family members say they last heard from him on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017.

Police advise the public not to approach or detain Higashino if he is located.
