Fairmont Kea Lani Announces New Director of Operations

Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui recently announced Ian Taylor as the hotel’s Director of Operations.

In his new position, Taylor will oversee the 450-key all-suite and villa resort’s Front Office, Housekeeping, Willow Stream Spa, Food and Beverage, Safety and Security as well as Guest Experience departments.

“I am pleased to welcome Ian to Fairmont Kea Lani’s ‘ohana to lead the luxury resort’s operations team,” said General Manager Charles Head. “Ian brings extensive experience in leading the hotel operations of top performing luxury resorts worldwide and will drive the Fairmont Kea Lani to great success.”

Taylor brings more than fifteen years of senior operations leadership in luxury hotels to his position at Fairmont Kea Lani. He most recently served as the Director of Operations for the St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kaua‘i.

Prior to coming to Hawai‘i, he worked as Director of Operations at Delta Winnipeg as well as led the rooms division as part of the opening team at Fairmont The Palm in Dubai and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise as Director of Rooms.
