October Community Pool Closures for Staff Training

Officials with Maui County announced that several community pools will be closed to the public in October while pool staff undergoes Emergency Medical Response training.
Each pool will reopen the day after training is held. The pool closure schedule is as follows.
– Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool, closed on Oct. 3
– Kihei Aquatics Center, closed on Oct. 13

– Coach Spencer Shiraishi Pool, closed on Oct. 20
For more information on the closures call the Department of Parks & Recreation, Aquatics Division, at 270-6137.
