Lāna‘i Appliance and Metals Recycling Event, Oct. 7

A one-day-only appliance and metals recycling event will be held on Lāna‘i on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Lāna‘i residents will be able to drop off acceptable items at the Pulama Lāna‘i Fleet Yard. The entrance to the yard is located on Ilima Street and 11th Street, across from Hale Kupuna.

Items being accepted will include: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, microwaves, water heaters, A/C units, auto tires, auto batteries and scrap metals.

Any businesses that would like to participate in this event can contact Refrigerant Recycling, Inc. at (808) 351-3504 to inquire about services and fees.
