Maui Now Meteorologist, and Hilo native, Malika Dudley was interviewed on BBC World News this evening. She answers questions about the current concerns for residents on the Big Island, including the laze hazard. Her sister, Emily (Dudley) Clearwater, a resident of the Puna district whose home and land have been covered in lava was also interviewed. Malika wraps the interview up talking about how the chemical composition of the lava has changed and how that has affected the rate at which the lava is flowing presently. Watch the video for more.
