Office of Economic Development to Host Grant Workshop

The county Mayor’s Office of Economic Development (OED) will offer free workshops on OED grants funding for the 2019 fiscal year.

“This is a perfect opportunity to learn all about OED funding, how to apply, and what criteria we consider when making funding decisions, said Teena Rasmussen, director of OED. “We urge our current grantees to attend as well as any organization who might like to seek future OED funding.”

The public workshops will be held on Maui, Moloka‘i and Lana‘i during the following dates and times:

Maui (attendees choose one only)
Tues., June 19, 2018: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Maui Arts & Cultural Center – Higashi Meeting Room
Tues., July 10, 2018: 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Maui Arts & Cultural Center – Haynes Meeting Room

Lana‘i
Wed., June 20, 2018: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Lana‘i Cultural Center. *RSVP REQUIRED – call (808) 270-7710 or email [email protected] to reserve a spot. 

Moloka‘i
Wed., Aug.1, 2018: 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Liliuokalani Trust – Uluhaimalama Conference Room

Attendees will receive an application packet for Fiscal Year 2019 and complete step-by-step training on the application process. OED staff will also be on hand to answer any questions attendees might have.
