Looking Ahead
A strong high pressure ridge north of the islands will continue to produce breezy trade winds through the first half of next week. A more stable trade wind pattern with only a few windward and mauka showers will persist through Thursday. On Friday, unstable air moves in from the east producing numerous showers over windward areas with periods of scattered showers drifting over leeward sections through the weekend. Periods of wet weather will continue into the first half of next week as a low level trough moves through the region.
West Side
Today: Sunny, with a high near 88. Breezy, with an east northeast wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 72. Breezy, with an east northeast wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Breezy, with an east northeast wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
South Side
