The Pacific Cancer Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free support services for Maui’s cancer community, is offering a 6-week cancer survivorship workshop, called Thrive & Survive, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This 6-week survivorship workshop is an evidence-based program developed by Stanford University to teach those affected by cancer the necessary skills and techniques to “thrive and survive” during and after cancer care.

“The skills that are learned throughout this series really benefit the day-to-day life of a cancer survivor,” said Nancy La Joy, Pacific Cancer Foundation’s executive director.

The Thrive & Survive workshop begins on Sept. 06, 2018, Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the J. Walter Cameron Center and is offered free of charge. Space is limited. To register call (808) 242-7661 or visit PacificCancerFoundation.org for more information.
