Rotary Club of Lahaina to Host Candidate Forum

On Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, a candidate forum featuring Rick Nava and Tamara Paltin will be presented by the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Both candidates are running for the West Maui County Council Seat.

The evening will begin with remarks limited to 10 minutes from each candidate. The next 45 minutes will be extended to the candidates to provide specific plans and actions on topics that are relative to West Maui.  Moderator and President of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset Heidi Dollinger will then offer the public the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates for the remaining time.

“The Mayoral Candidate Forum was a success with over 80 persons in attendance,” stated Ryan Beenken, President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. “I believe our forum offers West Maui residents an opportunity to get up-close and personal with the candidates for Maui County Council.”
