Run & Walk for Whales Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the 2019 Run & Walk for the Whales. The race will be held on Feb. 2, 2019, and is open to participants of all ages. Participants can choose to run or walk 10 miles, 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) or 1 mile. 

The race will start and end at the Maui Harbor Shops in Mā‘alaea. First, second, and third place awards will be presented all divisions: 10 and under, 11 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 59 and 60 plus. Entry fees vary based on the distance participants choose to walk or run. The fees also increase by $10 during each of the two months before the event. 

People who cannot physically participate in the run can join the virtual team for $50 and receive the same benefits, with all event materials and door prizes mailed after the event. Registration fees and Virtual Team donations will support the Pacific Whale Foundationʻs efforts to protect the ocean through science and advocacy.
